Walls were so thin! The person above me... clump, climp, clump. Trains all hours! The hotel has an 11pm quite policy, at midnight to 1.30am... rowdy guests up and down the hallway, maybe from the engagement party on the rooftop. Granted i did not call down to reception, but truly i should've have to, its such a small hotel, theres no way anyone on duty wouldn't and should automatically ask the guest to quietly go to their rooms! My daughter lives in Fairfield CT, i brought my son and his fiancé to town to visit. I have to be honest. Ill choose a different location next visit.

Very nice hotel in a busy area. The complimentary breakfast needs a lot of work. It was Holiday Inn style, not much there. That was disappointing. Also had to ask several employees where the hair dryer was until someone was able to tell me. It's very hidden, should be in a more obvious place. Otherwise very nice hotel.

Having stayed in hotels all over the world, this hotels ranks at the top for cleanliness, amazing staff, peaceful oasis on the inside, aesthetically pleasing lobby, rooms, and rooftop deck, and ability to meet the needs of their guests. It is more than apparent that the staff and the designer listens to their guests needs and wants. It is a beautiful environment. The rooms are calming and meticulously clean. The amenities are luxurious. I cannot wait to find a reason to return.

Beautiful hotel! We stayed at a total of 5 hotels during our trip and the Watershed was the best overall. Only gripe was that I requested our room to be away from the elevator, only to get a room close to the ice machine, which is a bit loud if your a light sleeper. Lesson learned. Would definitely book again!

I had an event in Westport where there don’t seem to be any options and this was a 15 minute ($18 dollar) car service ride away. I was very pleasantly surprised. Recently renovated so the rooms are big and bedding very comfy. Good size modern bathroom and a lot of towels. Nice big TV. The decor is rustic chic. The lobby also has a very nice large seating area with natural light and comfy couch/chairs. So you can gather if you are a large group. It’s a low rise and j the back is a wooded area with a creek (don’t think there was access to this) and the front is busy main road. But f need be, you can cross over and there is a liquor store and Stop & Shop maybe a 4 minute walk. Refrigerator in room and the restaurant lent us a couple of spoons. The restaurant on premises opens at 5 pm and the food was very good. They also had a happy hour. Staff very helpful and friendly in both lobby and restaurant. free continental breakfast was fine. A few coffee options. Overall a very safe bet and I’d stay again when I need to go to area.

Fabulous renovation. Our favorite hotel in the area. Never knew about the underground garage. That made it immensely convenient. Poison Ivy growing on the waterfront and up the trees. This needs to be controlled.

The design of this hotel is beautiful, and despite being on the main road it was quiet inside the property. The windows in the breakfast room on the river side are in need of cleaning (lots of algae growing) and there were no dairy-free options at breakfast. The trash bin at breakfast was overflowing and right in the middle of the room which was strange. I didn’t mind hearing the train from our room and slept really well. I did notice the bathroom counter was dusty (maybe from the vents? I’m sure the cleaners wouldn’t leave it like that) but it felt clean otherwise. There was only one person at the desk when we checked in, she was on the phone talking about room pricing to a potential customer, and we had to wait in a line for a while until we were able to check in. I think paying customers should take precedence.
