「The room was clean, the registration was easy, and the staff was friendly (particularly Naomi).」

「Location was beautiful on Lake Superior and being able to sit on porch and see sunset over the lake was breathtaking. Front desk sraff very friendly. However, room was a bit outdated and did not get room cleaned with fresh towels for a 2 night stay.」

「Rooms smelt musty, damp and old. The air conditions in all 3 rooms my family were in looked like the filters have never been cleaned. Disappointed that they were in such bad shape. We've stayed here many times before and they weren't a whole lot better. We will think twice before we stay there again.」

「The continental breakfast did have Gluten Free options. It is always a plus when I don't have to leave the hotel in the morning to find breakfast.」

「Pleasant check in staff, nice variety of food for breakfast, comfortable beds and pillows for weary travelers from abroad…the only glitch…the power went out in the morning not allowing showers and resulting in a 3 story descent on the stairs from the third floor with a baby buggy, two children under two, and luggage…not a good ending to our stay unfortunately.」

「We got there and the front desk staff was lacking energy and talked very softly. The hotel does not have an elevator which was not advertised and was an issue. It took a manager to come in and get us all checked in, We went to our room and the bed wasn't made. The room was not clean. We then headed back to the front desk and it took another 15 minutes to get a clean room. The pool was also closed. Not a great experience.」
