「This property opened up about a year ago and it’s lovely! Everything is brand new. There’s a hot tub and sauna outside. The staff are really nice and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good. And about a 20+ minute walk to downtown Stowe and other shops. Overall would stay here again and highly recommend! 」

「Black Lantern Inn is a cozy place to stay. The exterior may be showing its age—1803!—but the interior exudes lots of character & charm. It’s listed on the National Historic Registry. Easy check in. Our Rm 6 was spacious, clean, quiet, with comfy & some vintage furnishings. All rooms appear to be on the 2nd floor & there's no obvious elevator (it’s an old building after all). Caveat re: our bathroom: toilet seat is loose & needs to be screwed tight; & don’t flush toilet while someone’s showering....
