"Excellent location. Nice suites. Fully loaded."

"Very disappointing stay. The hotel was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The curtains were stained and grimy, the carpets throughout the room and hallways were old and filthy, and the bathroom was very outdated. The bathroom fixtures were worn out, discolored, and even loose. There was not even a power outlet next to the bed to charge a phone, which was very inconvenient. The room had only one small, dim light, making the space feel dark and depressing. The bathroom had no ventilation at all. The photos used in the advertising are highly misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the property. Even the carpet at the main entrance was old and badly worn, and the walls and corridors looked dirty and neglected. Overall, the hotel is in serious need of renovation and much better cleaning standards. I was genuinely shocked by the condition of the room and would not stay here again."

"Staff were all without exception super friendly and helpful, very very good. My airconditioner heatpump in room 450 was not responding to instructions very frustrating. My daughter's toilet in room 452 was broken/blocked, moved to room 453 and the telephone didn't work. All the rooms are always clean, tidy no problems but they could do with a bit more Quality Assurance for the stuff they provide. Simple is fine, that's what we pay for, but its got to be working...."

"All in all an okay experience about staying in Grand Hyatt Melbourne…. First of all the room was really small and the bed didn’t look like a king bed, the water pressure was really low for the sink and toilet flush, the mattress was very uncomfortable to sleep on so couldn’t enjoy our relaxing stay which was the reason we friends decided to book over. The good part was the breakfast it had really good variety and taste and was really sumptuous. Also they gave us late check out option because of the goof up done for the spa availability!"
