"This is now our go- to Legoland hotel. The suites are spacious, with comfy beds, great ac and nice showers. Our room stepped out into a pool area with a little patio where we could sit with our coffee.
The hotel offers a Legoland shuttle.
Right next to the hotel is a very nice food hall with a speakeasy vibe. Foods available include pasta, thai, burgers, tacos, pizza, lobster rolls, ice cream, dim sum, sushi, donuts, salads… there’s something for everyone, including coffee and breakfast. "
"It was walking distance to Legoland. Had its own entrance. My 6 year old grandson enjoyed the pool and the slide. Only drawback is slide closed at 6. The room was spacious and clean. They did miss straighting up our room 2nd day. Breakfast was good, and having restaurant next to lobby was so convenient. And it didn’t feel overcrowded. Would definitely stay there again!!"
"Me and my kids love the location right at North Pronto Beach (South Carlsbad.) This is the only hotel on that stretch and we have been back two years in a row. The waves are great for boogie boarding and body surfing. Follow the locals down the secret trails or walk down the hill for easy access. The hotel staff is great, including front desk, waitresses and bartenders. The food and daily specials are fantastic. And the pool is just right. We hightly recommend this place."

"Extremely clean hotel despite it being old. There was visible wear and tear (crack in sink, tear in wallpaper) but I needed a cheap place to sleep not luxury comfort. I was VERY impressed with the check in process and the staff accessibility. I called a couple times and someone always answered from the hotel not an 800 phone number. Parking was free and there was plenty of parking and I felt safe as I came late each night. I left my favorite hat in the hotel room and when I called, they said if they find it they would mail it to me, but I haven’t heard anything so I am sad about that. I would definitely stay at this La Quinta again. I appreciated the reviews of other people talking about how clean it is."
