We only stayed one night but North Platte has a lot more to offer. For example, attractions like go-karts, a golf course, a splash pad, museums, a state park, a Cuban restaurant, and a winery.

We hadn't been there for quite a while so impressed by the growth and the new businesses that have arrived. Tried the Chop house down town and very nice restaurant but the steak not as impressive as the price! Would b great if they succeed though.

North Platte is a nice quiet town, lots to do depending on time of year. Right now the main street is under construction so it's a little harder to get around but not impossible.

My vehicle needed unexpected maintenance. TO Haas Tires took me in immediately. The two riverside parks I visited were pretty.

I come to North Platte at least once a year for the Sandhill Crane migration and to see the prairie chickens. It's always a wonderful time. We try to eat at the North 40 Chophouse every time we're in town.
