「This no frills motel was clean & extremely affordable. They didn't offer any of the luxe extras but it was very clean & the property well kept. It was everything we needed & enjoyed it immensely. 「Walked in to check in, lady at desk started to yell at me because im cheap, didnt pay enough for my room. I dont have any thing to do with the price, i got the price that expedia gave me. Got to the room and there were ticks in the bed. So the guy at the desk moved our room Had to put a $50 smoking deposit for the room When i checked out and wanted my $50 back, at 7;30 am the lady at the desk was very rude again. We didnt smoke in the room. Most things were good, room was nice. Just a rude...

「The building is older but don't let it fool you. A quaint 60's era motel that is remodeled and up to date inside with the outside feel of a 1960s mom and pop motel. This is going to be my permanent stop when visiting Norfolk. Nick and his wife are great. The Bay Inn is a family run business and you're treated like family when you stay here. Nick let me know if there were any problems on the property just let him know and he would take care of it. But I never had any problems. We stayed 5 days...
