Fantastic location on a quiet street close to Uni. Downstairs has a large kitchen, lounge and dining area so you can organise your own food and relax.

Excellent property, close drive distance to all things Newcastle. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent bed. Very quiet with dark curtains. Very very good value. Parking is close and safe. We really enjoyed our stay 😊

Good value for the price. Clean and tidy, has a good common area dining, kitchen, rest area. Only issue was finding the property in the dark - the sign was illuminated but hard to see/read. There checking process using text messaging and coded locks was very good.

Shower could have had more pressure but overall I couldn’t complain. Bed was great. Served its purpose well and didn’t cost a fortune. Thanks guys.

The unit was small but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our smoke alarm went off 3 times between 11pm and 6am. The last alarm was the longest and we thought evacuation was in order but it stopped. I called the number for the Blue Wren Lodge but could only leave a message with our issue. My disappointment was not just being woken up frighteningly in this way, but management did not have the courtesy to call and discuss this with us. Only a message was sent to us on our phone stating that the battery in the smoke alarm was low & apologized for the inconvenience. This is very poor communication and the Lodge needs to be a lot more professional in their attitude & response to customers.

The kitchen, laundry, dining and lounge shared area is very well appointed and our bed was very comfortable. The shower door in room 7 doesn't slide properly and the hairdryer doesn't work. Auto hall lights activated for no reason through the night and the light was cast into our room around the door jambs. We were kept awake by a very squeaky bed in another room and late arrivals stomping through hallways and using their mobiles.
