"This is a pretty simple hotel. Low price, simple room that is nothing fancy. They are doing a remodel to update some things, still not fancy but it was very clean. The customer service though I must say was a definite 10/10. I was in town to run a marathon which meant that everywhere was fully booked. I mistakenly booked a smoking room and the lady at the front desk noticed by my outfit that I was a likely runner and wouldn't want a smoking room but they were fully booked. She told me which room she thought smelled the least due to the recent renovations, gave me multiple keys to let me check the different rooms to see which one smelled the least like smoke and offered to let me switch the next day if they had a cancellation. I also checked in very late and she contacted me while I was driving out there to make sure I was still coming so that I could cancel and get some money back if not. While I ended up staying in the smoking room due to no other vacancies I think the customer service needs to be called out as attempting to go way above and beyond to help me with a problem that was entirely my own fault."
