Floor could’ve been cleaned better. Some of the lights didn’t work. It was noticed by staff but they don’t really speak very good English to understand that the fixtures needed new light bulbs. Also, paid extra for late checkout because I drove for 10 hours and wanted to sleep more, but two staff members knocked on my door at 11am, telling me to check out. Very annoying, especially when they didn’t acknowledge that anything was wrong.

The room and staff were wonderful. The fridge was not working, but otherwise, the facility was clean and updated. Would absolutely return.

5 Star Service
My experience at Horizon was surprisingly pleasant. I say surprisingly because I am always weary of Inn's and I completely stay away from Motel's...even on a budget. No judgement to those who do! Personnel preference. Kenny, the Manager in the evening, was a pleasure. He was extremely helpful and accommodated all of my requests. The room was clean and had a decent sized Smart T.V. My remote wasn't working, I called down and Kenny came up right away to fix it. I value good service and I definitely received it. For the price and location...you really can't go wrong. Including free coffee, Ice & Access to Vending Machines....I will definitely go back.

Thecpeople make the place #1. They have a nice sized refrigerator and freezer. Newly remodeled with premium luxury vinyl flooring and fancy wall treatment raises the accomodation higher than a 3 star rated hotel. Location conveniently near varuety of food delivery. A great value!!

Family Owned
I believe this is a family owned hotel and I love them lol. Hotel is honestly cleaner than 4 or 5 star hotels I’ve stayed at, the service is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and updated. Some think because of the outside it’s an old hotel but inside feels like home ❤️ I’m actually on my way back to stay lol. Will always stay here.

The property itself has been updated, my room was clean and spacious. The road noise was a little loud as I’m a light sleeper, just turned the fan on to block some of the noise. The only real complaint I had with the property is their pillows suck! The staff was a very accommodating as there is no elevator, and the night manager helped bring my luggage up to my room and even placed it on the luggage rack for me. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but would bring my own pillow!

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing stay we had ordered the wrong room and the owner was amazing and helped us out. We love going here for our quiet private nights we really go for the jacuzzi it’s amazing and super spacious I can honestly say the staff is amazing and we will be definitely coming back to this hotel.

Owner made us leave because we had a friend who lived locally come visit us in the afternoon. He told us that we had to leave because of the visitor and refused to process a refund even though we were there for less than 2 hours. Rooms were dirty with stains on the tub and smelled old and musty. Walls were very thin and you could hear everything going on in the rooms in the hallway.

Hello, Only 2 people are allowed in the room and when the visitor came we let the visitor stay for 2 hours before asking them to leave. We had only asked for the visitor to leave, not the guests originally staying.
