I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was very clean and face the street which I loved. Because I love sunlight in the morning. Great lounge that I will enjoy on my next stay!

The reception was neither welcoming nor rude. Not that it matters to me but I thought I should mention it for others. It's an old hotel but you can see that the management is making every effort to please. The towels are fresh comparable to any 5 star establishment and the toiletries are plenty. The room was warm despite the chill outside I later realised they left the window 'stuck' open to let the 'fresh' air (and the fresh noise) in.
Halfway between Central Park and Times Square you can walk to both provided you don't do it on the same day of course.
And the bed didn't disappoint either.

Our stay was fabulous. My wife and I were among the last guests before the hotel was closed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Considering what was/is going on, I was quite impressed with the overall professional performance of the staff. This place is a keeper. To better days, Cheers James

Location is what gave this property a star for me. It was easy to get to most places in downtown by taking the subway. Your a walk distance to time square and the SW corner or Central Park.
Be prepared for absolutely irritable staff. We stayed 4 days and every single day had a different staff member with what felt like no patience regarding questions....our room had ants. They did move us for it. Also the walls are paper thin...we also got moved for a total of 2 times because the noises in the rooms across the hall were so bad.

Very sad the pool deck was only seasonal! Even if the pool is closed it would have been amazing to see the city from the deck. Overall it was great! Clean hotel, friendly staff. Will def. be back! Oh and the wings at the skylight lounge were to

What you see in the photos is what you get. For this price, I found this to be a decent hotel in a good area. The room was clean but by no means luxurious, although the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Overall, I would stay here again.

It is a great location and the rooms are a nice size for the price. But, you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms. I can’t tell you how many door slams I heard all hours of the night. I woke up to the smell of overwhelming cigarette smoke one morning. That night I had to change rooms as the bathroom ceiling was leaking (think a moderate rain) into my bathroom. At least that next morning I didn’t have to wake up to the smell of smoke. But I was tired from being woke up by the sound of water, having to pack and change rooms. I will not stay here again.

Hello,
You are to pay the $20 Destination Fee but we do take a $25 daily deposit. That deposit is released automatically at check out if you did not damage the room or used any incidentals (made calls, ordered room service, etc).
Depending on your bank, it can take up to 7 business days before they give you access to those $25.
