We came for my son’s 6th birthday and he couldn’t stop talking about the “fancy pancy hotel”. The bellman are superior very friendly, the place is a bit vintage but after the first night it felt like home. Wonderful staff and overall 4.5/5 experience

This is Midtown’s best kept secret. It’s conveniently located near subway access, to include Grand central Station. We came by train and our cab was greeted by the doorman who was very friendly and helped us with our luggage. The lobby decor is old world traditional, but in good shape. When we checked in, the clerk let me know that because my name is Kimberley, the hotel would like to give me a new plush bathrobe (like the ones in the room) with “Kimberly” monogram on the chest. They sent it up to our room in a Kimberly shopping bag. It’s an awesome robe! I guess they do this for all their guests named Kimberly! We ate at the Italian restaurant there - Bistango. Dinner was good and the service was friendly and attentive. Our 1 bedroom suite was ENORMOUS! Not just by NYC standards, but by most anywhere! The furnishings were a bit dated, but in good shape. Nice bed and linens, nice kitchenette and lots of closet space. Had a very large balcony (didn’t expect that). The bathroom was the only aspect that was just average. It’s small and the bathtub/shower was narrow and kind of slippery. It was fine, but nothing special. WiFi worked fine. There is a rooftop bar, which is nice and SUPER busy at times. The Empire restaurant mostly touts their burgers, but the space is very posh. The staff there is also very friendly and we chatted with them for a while at the bar . Elevators were fast and usually empty. Checkout was very easy and quick. We’ll be back!

Lovely hotel. A gem. Will be back but would like a better view. We had a view of college dorm windows staring at us. Everything else was perfect. Diner right next door. Near so much. Helpful staff. Great room. Our kitchen was amazing. Upstairs restaurant turns into awesome nighttime bar with outside area. Loved this place.

I liked everything about this gem of a hotel in Midtown East. The room was huge with 2 double beds, perfect for a friends’ trip. The bathroom looked newly remodeled, was immaculate, and had plenty of counter space. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly. There was a subway stop one block away. The immediate area was full of dining options. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Stayed 9th April 24 for 5 nights. Hotel situated in great neighbourhood, handy for MTA Subway @51st and great food options nearby. Diner next door is a must visit. Staff throughout the hotel were really friendly and special thanks to Housekeeping for their assistance after both my girl's became unwell. Room was massive by NYC standards and plenty of room for family of 4. We stayed in Room 11E. View is on to the back of student accommodation. There is a constant hum from air conditioning units below which are irritating and means sitting out on the balcony or having windows open isn't an option. There is also a cooking smell possibly rom the Steak restaurant downstairs which again precludes sitting out. If it hadn't been for this I'd have given 5 stars acorss the board and notwithstanding the points mentioned I'd happily stay at the Kimberly Hotel again.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious and we loved the bed. It was an adjustable bed. The knock on the property is it is located one block away from the Fire and Police department. We heard sirens everyday throughout the day and every night throughout the night….noisy.

We loved our stay at the Kimberly. We had a suite and compared to the cost of a typical hotel room in NYC it was perfect! The linens and bedding were divine ~ one of the best night sleeps Ive had in a hotel. For an older property everything was immaculately maintained. Very convieniently located to everything! We had a large suite that was very comfortable and staff was friendly, courteous and professional. A very enjoyable accommodation for our stay. Penthouse bar/cafe was a comfy place to visit and offered coffee and pastries in the afternoons well as a good view and outdoor patio.

Our suite was very spacious and nicely furnished. Bathroom sink didn’t drain properly but didn’t bother us as we had another sink in the room. Restaurant on top floor had indoor and outdoor spaces. Would definitely stay here again.

Near coffee shops, shopping, Grand Central, etc. Room was very spacious and kitchen facility nice. Bed and lighting very good. Staff was friendly. Main issue was with the heat controls in the room. The heating fan was running continuously and was very noisy, but was not effective in heating the room.

My Wife, two children (14 & 12) and I stayed at the Kimberley in a suite with two double beds. On arrival we were treated they the concierge, they were all friendly and full of useful advice) especially Ralph. Check in was easy and efficient and we were quickly in our room. The room was excellent with a large open plan living area with sofas wardrobes and a kitchen area. The balcony was nice but could have done with a couple of small chairs and table to sit out. The bathroom was great as was the bedroom. We didn’t use the restaurant as choose to eat at some of the 1,000’s of places in NYC!! We did have a drink in the roof top terrace which was great. Under 21’s are allowed in before 5pm. The hotel is location in a great stop close to many of the main tourist areas On the whole a great place to stay and would stay again.

Very nice location. We e had a suite which was incredibly spacious for Manhattan. Staff were very helpful. A very nice hottel.
