"We have stayed here 3x and probably will again so certainly a decent place to stay in the city. The property is good and the location is perfect if time square is your intention. Close to station with alllllll public transportation. The room was spacious compared to many NY hotels in the area. The only negative is the increasing number of hotels with no refrigerators or microwave not even in shared areas for people to use. Also many of the amenities such as lounge area, bar etc never returned after the pandemic it has been years."
"Check‑in was easy and the staff was friendly. I was told I’d been upgraded to an executive‑floor room with a king bed and a city view, but the room had a queen bed and the balcony view was blocked by construction equipment. The room was clean and fine for a one‑night stay near Amtrak and MSG, but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer."
"This beautiful old building clearly had a storied past, but the basic furnishings, lack of usable outlets, and cheap building materials undermine the experience. The beds were also very creaky and hard. The staff were nice, there is parking across the street, and the proximity to Times Square, as well as the general quiet of the building, are the selling points."
