I really liked the cleanliness of the bathroom and the room overall. The location is very convenient, with the train just a few minutes’ walk away, making it easy to get around Brooklyn and Manhattan.
The neighborhood isn’t fancy or pretty, especially with snow, but once inside the hotel you don’t really notice the area.
The room is small, but it was very practical for a weekend trip. There’s no full breakfast, but they offer free coffee in the mornings. In the basement there’s a water station, microwave, and small dining area to heat food. The room doesn’t have a fridge, but ice is always available.
There’s no closet, but plenty of hooks for clothes. The bathroom is spacious and very clean, with fresh-smelling white towels and sheets, shampoo, body wash, body lotion dispensers, and a hairdryer. The room also includes a smart TV, free Wi-Fi, and many outlets.
About noise: you can hear the bar until around 2 am and the train in front of the hotel, but it didn’t bother me at all. I stayed on the second floor; friends on the sixth floor said it was much quieter.
The service was excellent, especially manager Ruhul and Lerron at the front desk, who were always friendly and helpful.
You can store luggage before check-in and after check-out. Upon arrival, they give 2 free drink tickets for the bar. There are also many food options nearby, including a 24/7 grocery store next door with fresh made-to-order food.
