This can't be called hotel and hostel should be more appropriate. No amenities in room not even hanger. Not control of in-house guest as during 2am, doors still keep banging as whole building was occupied by students and keep running around in and out whole night.

Reasonably good place to stay. Room was pretty barebones but the bed was as comfortable. Toilet didn’t work well and leaked from the water chamber. The shower head functioned but was broken. The water however was warm quickly. The soap dispenser didn’t work but fortunately I carry a bar with me. Location is excellent right in the midst of Chinatown. I’ve stayed in better and I’ve stayed in worse. Price was decent for NYC.

Comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff - needed an extra pillow for the extra comfort and got one right away. Area is well connected and in the middle of the (non-touristy part) of Chinatown, which I loved. The hotel does the job and I got everything I needed, a cheap, but clean and well located stay.

Would give this place a decent rating if it weren't for how unnecessarily rude the front desk manager was to me, and another poor couple who's room didn't have a working toilet. She escalated the situation, showed no empathy and had no interest in being helpful or kind. If you get lucky and don't have any problems with your booking or room amenities, this is not a fancy property but it felt safe, clean enough and good value for the money and location. If anything is wrong with your room though - this is not where you want to be. You're lucky if someone bothers to be at the front desk at all, let alone try to help you. The hotel front desk were unable to help me with simple requests like printing a folio/receipt, changing my check out date (I requested in advance within my cancellation policy when the change should have been allowed). Their booking system doesn't seem to work very well. I was overcharged an extra night of service fee and only was refunded because I asked them to double check. We also only got housekeeping 1 of the 4 nights we were there which isn't a big deal, but feels annoying when you pay an extra service fee per day. Don't bother leaning on the front desk manager for help - she was rude to me and to the other customers who asked for help with their room......which didn't have a working toilet. I felt bad for them and they got upset, but only because of her attitude and blatant unwillingness to try ro help them.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is SO close to the subway. Other than that, the area is dirty, noisy and feels unsafe. The staff do not seem to care about customer service. When I arrived to drop off my bags, the lady at the front desk seemed annoyed and didn't bother to really help me. When I came back later at check in time, the desk was unoccupied (mind you it was PEAK check in time for guests), and they took quite a while to come to the desk once I called. The hotel itself didn't seem really clean... I found hair in the bathtub and just overall felt kind of gross. On the bright side, the heater worked and my stay was only one night! I think it's worth it to pay a little more and stay somewhere more clean, safe, and friendly!

The room was clean and cleaned daily but very small. Most lights in the room did not work. The staff were not welcoming and not very helpful. Close to many stations which was amazing. However, will not stay here anymore.

The best part of this hotel is the location. Given the lower price, I wasn't expecting too much, but the pictures on the listing are old and the property is much more run down than the pictures would indicate. That being said, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable (even though the pillows were thin), the bathroom was clean. There were no bugs to be found at all. There are no TVs or phones in the room, but the Wifi was decent. The major issue that I discovered at the end of my stay was that the door did not lock well. Locking it from the inside was easy and secure, but when you left the room, the door was able to be opened without the key card. There was no staff present at the desk when I checked out to inform. If I would have noticed earlier, I would have requested a room change. Fortunately, no one entered the room while I was away from it and nothing was stolen, but it could have been a disaster.

Vreselijk vervallen hotel, bij aankomst werd er niet eens gegroet door de receptie maar gelijk om geld gevraagd en daarna pas oms paspoort, was ook zeer onvriendelijk Russisch meisje. Hadden maar 1 handdoek op de kamer dus bij de receptie handdoeken gaan vragen, maar deze had niks en zal iemand sturen, nooit gekregen! De wc op de kamer was stuk, deze bleef doorlopen, dus melding van gemaakt, er zal iemand langs komen, ook nooit geweest. Heel weekend met stukke wc gezeten. In de badkamer hangt een vies douchegordijn welke te kort was dus na het douchen was de badkamer zeiknat. Was zeker geen aanrader! En hebben hier €200,- per nacht betaald, dat was goedkoop voor New York standaarden.
