The fire alarm went off at 3:40 am due to a faulty panel. Staff didn’t communicate as everyone stood outside. 30 minutes later fire dept. arrived. After finally getting back in our room around 4:30 am the strobe continued to go off and then again the fire siren went off.

This was the worse stay I ever had hit tub had green algae ring we stsyecon 3rd floor no elevator, no discount. Next day would not move us down to 2nd or 1st floor. Bathroom toilets stained and dirty . Lotta things broken in the room Building smelled damp . Just will never stay at quality in anywhere , too scared! Very sad😝

We did not see any disgusting bugs so that was a big deal! We appreciate the warm food available in the morning...in fact, the waffles, hot sausage, eggs, etc. is better that any continental breakfast I ever encountered. BUT, the stained carpet, yuck, the broken elevator, the greenish pool & the cold, broken hot tub was TOO MUCH!! MY BILL SHOULD BE 1/2 WHAT I PAID. Thank the lord the air conditioning in the room worked and we loved the pillows, the bed was comfortable and the curtains are total black out!

This location was nice, close drive to shopping and the beach. However, when I booked the website said the hotel offered a pool and hot tub, but when we arrived there was a sign stating the hot tub wasn't working. I would have booked next door if I had known this, website wasn't updated to reflect no hot tub. At check in, I was told the elevator wasn't working, and asked if I wanted to go ahead with my booking. I stepped back and said I was going to check the hotel next door to see if we could still book a room there instead, as they DID have a working hot tub. As soon as the desk lady heard me say that, she quickly told me at the hotel next door (Baymont) their elevator was out as well. I hesitated, but ultimately believed her and went ahead with booking, checking in on the 3rd floor. We went over to the Baymont the next day, and I asked if their elevator was working or not, as Quality Inn told me it was not. She looked confused and said yes it is in fact working. I felt upset immediately knowing this hotel lied to me in order to keep my booking. Choice hotels offered me rewards points in exchange for my less than great experience, but I am not sure I will trust them again.

Great spot to stay when in New Buffalo. Away from the crowds and high prices, but easy enough to get into town. Easy drive to visit Indiana Dunes National Park.

The elevator was broken. We had to be on the third floor and carry all of our stuff up and down on our own. Check in took a very very long time. Our room smelled like wet dog and like damp wet basement. The lights in the parking lot are so brightly shining into the rooms. It looks like it’s daylight outside in the middle of the night

This place was conveniently close to the beach town of New Buffalo, only a 5-8min drive. Very quiet and safe. The reason for 3 stars is due to the staff at the desk. She was not very welcoming when we arrived nor friendly to the guests. We were also misled with the complimentary breakfast times.

Elevator broken, the dumpster area was full filled with a whole family of raccoons trash inside the entryway, where the stairs are on the first floor. Just an OK stay for an overnight.

Kind of disappointed that the hot tub didn't work, but what was really disappointing was the elevator being out of order. We didn't need it but felt bad for those who did. The owner I believe was really nice and friendly. Good location to both New Buffalo and the casino. Close proximity to a McDonald's and gas station and right off the highway. Amazing pillows and comfy bed. Decent continental breakfast too. Honestly, though not worth the $140 cost. Was not about to pay over $200 though for a room we were just going to sleep in. Give the whole experience a 3.5 out of 5.
