「This is an interesting place. I think we were the only guests staying there this particular night. We had reserved the yurt. I got an email earlier in the day regarding check-in. It gave me instructions on how to get to the yurt (door was unlocked) and find the keys to the bathroom in the main house. 「Parking was in the street or behind the building- you can only park for 3 hours at a time. On our last day of our stay we had to have our car removed at 0830 because Nevada City was having an event- which meant we had to leave early. There was no communication from staff about this. The room was very expensive for no ice or coffee for the room and no parking convenience. 」

「There was no screen in the bathroom window, and the room looked a little beat up - cracked tiles, dents and holes in the walls, squeaky bed. Grounds were definitely on the low maintenance side of things. Staff were friendly.」

「Well run, very helpful, and a lovely place. Would gladly go there again. Only problem was figuring out how to find it. The street splits JUST before where the house is (either E/W, or N/S - I can't remember) - so my GPS kept telling me I had arrived but I was on the wrong side - and each side was a 1-way - it took a while to figure out how to circle around so I could park in front.」
