「Really lovely little hotel (12 rooms?). Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Location very convenient for Torquay but far enough away from the noise. Beautiful 19th century property. Hosts very friendly, everyone greeted at breakfast by their names - how do they remember everyone's name??! Lovely breakfast all made to order - good variety. Would definitely stay again if in Torquay. We booked through expedia but worth looking at booking direct.」

「I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.」

「A wonderful hotel across the road from the beach. Check in was very easy, the gentleman was happy and informative. The room had everything we needed including a fan, clean, well kept and beautifully simple. Very quiet at night, with a comfortable bed, breakfast was brilliant with multiple choices, cooked quickly and the chef was great.
