The property itself seems so private, with a personal entrance gate, walled-in villa (with amazing high ceilings that become musical during evening showers rain on the roof), and a lovely swimming pool. "There is no access by car to the villa, you get dropped off at a nearby carpark and the staff will come and collect you by scooter/bike. They will take you on one bike and your luggage on another. The villa is well worth this inconvenience. Any time we wanted to go out of the villa, we just needed to ask and they would drop us to the main part of Ubud. The staff are so lovely and attentive.
