From the time you arrive you are treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. The facilities were beautiful and clean. The staff were always smiling and greeting you by name most of the time. I had the massage and it was wonderful. I highly recommend.

Kastara Resort was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish the staff were warm, professional, and incredibly attentive, the management ran everything seamlessly, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and luxurious. The resort itself is breathtakingly beautiful, with stunning views, a calm ambiance, and spotless cleanliness throughout the entire property, including our room which was maintained perfectly by housekeeping every day. The food was outstanding fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and accommodating to our preferences, making every meal a highlight of our stay. From check-in to check-out, everything felt smooth, well-organized, and genuinely guest-centered, making this one of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed at. We stayed at Kastara Resort for 8 days to celebrate our ten-year anniversary, and it was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine care. Every day the staff went above and beyond—checking in on us, helping with drivers and excursions, and making us feel so supported. One of the most magical moments was the breathtaking flower pool my husband surprised me with—it was something we had never seen before, and swimming in flowers felt like a dream. The resort was beautiful and spotless, with delicious food, live music, and cultural dance that made every evening special. We loved our private pool villa, the thoughtful touches like tea and water refills, and the sense of peace throughout the property. Honestly my favorite part about Bali. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. We couldn’t decide on which part of Bali we’d we enjoy more (Ubud or Legian) but it’s all perspective. If you enjoy relaxation this is the spot for you if you want to party choose the beach area.

Loved our stay at Kastara

Everything was great: beautiful swimming pool and room, amazing food (we ate at the restaurant multiple times and always delicious) and perfect location if you like to be outside the busy center of Ubud. The service was impeccable, the first night the room became light with sunrise, and they even offered to change the curtains so we could sleep in the second morning. Would definitely stay again.

We had a very pleasant stay at Kastara Resort! Location was slightly not convenient, however the facilities were great and service from the staffs were wonderful! Our room was spacious and clean, suited us comfortably. This trip was to celebrate my birthday and we really appreciated the staffs who had prepared a surprise celebration with a lovely cake and birthday song and also well wishes. We would like to express our gratitude for the warm experience. It made our night more special. A shoutout to Dedik. Thank you Kastara Resort! Highly recommended.

Can't explain myself enough on how incredible our 10 day honeymoon at this resort was. It was beyond beautiful, pictures before seeing it did not do it justice. We were in absolute awe upon arrival. They greeted us with a delicious tea in sandwich since we arrived at midnight and were very tired and jet lagged. The decorated our rooms beautifully for our honeymoon. Everything about our time here 10/10. We wanted/needed for absolutely nothing. We felt like a king and queen! The views were breathtaking and when you add in the fact that their food was AMAZING, the best massages of our lives, and the staff provided the best service top down throughout our entire stay. They have true gratitude that you are there and they make it known. Don't skip the delicious Hibachi dinner which must be scheduled in advance. We are coming back next year without question! There are tons of resorts in Ubud, but this is by far the best. BOOK IT!

The facilities, services, and views at Kastara are amazing. We ordered room service for breakfast and ate on our patio multiple times. They give great massages at their spa. The food at the two restaurants was delicious. There are other restaurants within a ten minute drive. There were a couple things I didn’t like. First, they don’t allow Grab drivers (or any online taxi) to pick you up at the resort. They provide their own local drivers but they are more than double the price. Second, we went on one private tour which they organized as well. The tour details specified an English speaking driver but our driver knew about 5 English words. He also did not follow the tour itinerary and took us to the wrong waterfall which was disappointing and wasted a couple hours or our time. We didn’t have time to see 2 out of the 4 places on the itinerary. Overall our stay at Kastara was amazing and I recommend staying there. I would just not recommend their tour.

Everything about this hotel I loved. Breakfast, gym, yoga, the staff. Loved everything. The hotel room smelled really good and it was clean. The kimono in the room as well as slippers were welcome additions. I also enjoyed the live entertainment at dinner. My twin sister and I celebrated our birthday here and it was everything. There was no conditioner and I needed to request it. But because the hotel was so beautiful, that didn’t affect me. Just go ahead and book!
