「The only saving grace at Surfside was the view and staff. The cupboards underneath the sink were broken just hanging off, cupboards above were disgusting, carpets were all torn up, no screen on the patio door to enjoy the sound of the ocean. It took forever to get hot water, broken coffee pot... The Constitution noise was miserable. We booked the ocean front room to celebrate my 60th Birthday and what a horrible let down. The property, room, furniture have been totally let go... Just sad」

「It wasnt we were expecting, it did not match picrtures online; it was rundown and was a repurposed single wide trailer. Check in was at 4 but it was not ready til 5:30 because they were unaware we had reserved it. The lake is beautiful but for the price and the place, go down the road a few miles and stay somewhere else.」

「This is a basic motel type set up. We had our dog with us and they were very welcoming. They even supplied a doggie welcome basket of towel, large sheet, water bowl, waste bags & dog treats. This was very much appreciated! The kitchenette was a small fridge, microwave & electric kettle. Coffee & good quality teabags were provided. Water was available only from the bathroom sink. Curiously, there was were only 2 ceramic cups & 2 water glasses…no plates or cutlery. We did get a few paper plates...
