"Great location, nice hotel"

"Staff were very attentive throughout my stay. Had 1 little problem with a light in bathroom, got it fixed quickly. Breakfast was a good selection, all well presented and plentiful. Just one other thing...the room carpet could do with a deep clean, the only thing that stood out, otherwise, a good stay."

"Really comfy room, nice size, nice decor, lovely bathroom. Provided me with a toothbrush which I had forgotten. Very convenient for the station. Only slight issue was the room was really super hot and the aircon didn’t seem to make a huge difference. However, that is in issue in many nice hotels so I wouldn’t let that put you off, it was very good value,"

"Room was quite small, and very noisy on a Saturday night with loud dance music, despite it advertised as having soundproofing. The food was OK, but definitely looks had been prioritised over taste - several things quite bland. Breakfast looked good but tomatoes stone cold, eggs not at all runny (looked like they’d been kept warm for a while). Location was good and central. Parking wasn’t available from the hotel - had to purchase separately for the car park next door and deal with 2 flights of stairs from disabled parking to street level, carrying cases etc! Toilet in room was strange - when you flushed, it was too fierce and water splashed from under the seat onto the floor!"

"Check in was painful with the need to scan s Qr code and fill in a form when all our details are already on the system when we booked. No tea making facilities in rooms. Staff wete great but big queues due to mobile registration. What happens if there is someone who doesn't do mobile qr codes? "

"Receptionist refused to hand over key cards to my 2 daughters even after i checked in online. Made the stay negative from the 1st minute they stepped into the hotel. When they say they treat everyone as an adult over the age of 15 is a lie. A 17 and 19 year old was not allowed to check in until I sent my photo ID in an email. Follow up messages to my daughters were about quality of sleep. Very poor due to substandard pillows."

"Positives - great location only 8 minute walk from the AO Arena & train station, comfy bed, friendly staff and amazing breakfast! Not so positives - dressing chair had a large stain on, the breakfast order to hang on the door had previous persons details on and room smelt of smoke. I would like to say though these did not ruin our stay at all and we would absolutely stay again! "
