「Just got home from a long weekend spent at the beautiful Hotel Bardo. From the beautiful pink and white umbrellas at the pool to the luxurious bathroom and friendly helpful staff, my group of 10 girlfriends from college loved every minute of it. It was authentic luxury not something fake or forced. Great job!」

「I felt very unsafe at this location. My room was towards back of property. When I entered the back door with a sign saying for your safety this door is kept locked at all times. Ironic as the latch was broken off and the door did not latch in any way!! I did get the very helpful housekeeping manager Jennifer to move me to the front of the building closer to the front desk and I bring my own security lock when traveling. I stayed the 1 night but if you’re traveling by yourself I don’t recommend...

「The place was gross! Floor was slippery, like it had never been mopped. There was a cockroach in my room. The shower was filthy.」

「The room was livable but had several problems. The fridge was frosted to the point of not working. The pool area had a trash can that was full for three days. The staff was friendly enough but when a noise issue was reported their actions was ineffectual.」

「The building is beautiful and very charming. The room we stayed is very spacious and it was for the most part well maintained considering that is an old building. The curtain to the terrace is not well placed and has zip ties holding and some wiring. The jet tub was not very clean and barely hot water. Fully open was just luck warming and even after waiting more than the 5 min they asked (15 min). I asked the staff to change the water heater temperature as plumber, I knew what I was asking. It...

「The property is conveniently located in an ideal location centrally to many walkable attractions. It is on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic area. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The courtyard was a relaxing retreat throughout the day. The hotel was offering breakfast that was creative and delicious. They also offered an evening wine and cheese social which provided an opportunity to meet with others staying at the property. ...

「The central location is great, and the staff is very kind and helpful.」

「I booked one of the rooms that had access to the courtyard on the ground floor. It was nice to have the option to sit outside, although people did walk by outside. We were able to take our luggage out through the courtyard to our car without having to pull it upstairs to the check-out desk and then downstairs to the street. Chuck (?) was very helpful. The breakfasts were were fresh and filling. We had omelets, bacon, muffins, croissants with jams and butter, yogurt and fruit, juices and coffee....

「The corner room is noisy at night- there were many people gathering near the hotels till 1 or 2 am and you could hear them. There was an Irish bar across from the hotels which you would hear the music playing at night. There was coffee stain in the carpet of the room I stayed. The hotel has good hospitality and the bed was comfortable. 」
