「What a pleasant surprise. We booked a stay here as it was a good location and price for what we required, and was dog-friendly. The bonuses were the complimentary wine-tasting and breakfast, neither of which we were expecting. Staff are all lovely and kind and the morning view from bed looking out at the like was divine.」

「Facing the golf course water foundation is nice. However, there was a body hair on one do the bed and the air conditioner was too noisy at night. The waterside in the pool was very fast, some kids found it very fun but some found found it quite intimidating. The waffle in the breakfast is yummy.」

「Nikki is the ultimate hostess , OMG, she was so hospitable, allowing us full access to her cherry tree, cooking us delicious breakfasts, refilling our coffees, always asking if we needed anything, the king size bed with AC unit and fan, I slept like a baby the 2 nights we were there, one of the most enjoyable AIR BNB's my wife and I stayed at, would highly recommend the Chirping Cricket to anyone to share in our most wonderful stay experience. 「Lovely place. Friendly host. Nice big room and the cleanest B&B we ever stayed in. Super comfy big bed. Great views of the surrounding area. Lovely being able to sit outside Was great we could do our laundry. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you.」

「The AC unit sounded like screaming banshee that had a baseball card stuffed into its bike spokes. Couldn’t sleep. So then we had to turn it off and it was so hot, we couldn’t sleep. The washroom fan had the same issue metal on metal screeching The pendent light over the table was also dangling from the ceiling with no insulation and electrical tape holding a splice together. Total electrical hazard. No way to lock the door with a keyless lock from the inside. No chain. Or flip latch....

「This was an amazing location! So happy to be here especially for the price. We didn’t know we were getting a kitchen so that was a bonus. We thought we would get a small fridge and that’s it. We had a full fridge and full stove/oven. There was a separate bedroom plus a pull out sofa/bed. It was clean, for the most part. Some yucky dust on trim and I only noticed because I’m hyper vigilant. Most people wouldn’t notice. Plenty of shampoo and tp provided. But not enough towels. There were two of us...

「BC is super overpriced but this is a fair priced accommodation and an adequate night stay.」

「We like the convenient location and have stayed here many times. The rooms are now updated also. Its definitely one of the better hotels in Penticton.」
