"All Staff were exceptional 5× The property is however can be 3-4☆ at best but is TRY-ing hard. Ground and rooms are vrry clean 5☆. The 50meter wide Beach 1☆ access needs daily maintenance. Food mediocre 3☆. Some fees are not necessary (lost towel fee 25$- really?) Complimentary game room not really 'free'. As said, big pat on back to hard working staff but some policies can be better. Look forward to future visit and hope to see further improvements. Thank you PB staff for your warm welcome and hospitality."

"The breakfast buffet was very nice. Eggs to order ( the house scrambled eggs were far too runny and undercooked). I found it wierd that when I asked for salt and pepper, both were given to me in small bowls. I am sure the resort can afford salt and pepper shakers. The in house restaurants had great food at VERY REASONABLE prices. The resort would be better off with a better TV channel selection. Just ONE American channel and the broadcast quality across all channels suffered heavy buffering. The hot water was fantastic, with great pressure. Very helpful staff. God willing, I will return next year with 7 family members in tow and rent a family villa. BTW, please stock up on Tito's vodka. It is not expensive and you can get it at S&R. Only serious complaint is that Jlounge bar serves seriously watered down drinks. My vodka and tonics were mostly tonic LOL"

"Everything was wonderful the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I felt the beds where a little to firm for my liking but for most people I’m sure they where fine. Also I was not a fan of the comforter protector. It felt like I was sleeping on plastic. Again amazing experience just a small critique from an otherwise amazing establishment. Thank you "

"Clean room, staff most likely will greet acknowledge your presence, several outdoor pools plus a waterpark, dining buffet is a must. Been there twice and will return. Laundry service also available. Pit falls were the shower would leak over the tub, dishes /beer bottles left at pool side from the day before."

"Overall, a decent experience, was charged 300pnp, due to a very small amount of blood on their comforter, the pool was not ready one day until after 8am, caused a delay in my swimming time, the room was equipped with stove, but can’t use unless you rent for at least a month. Room had conditioner, but was wall mount and not split unit. The restaurant was good and the food reasonably priced. To summarize, charging a guest for small amount of blood on a comforter is just simply buckle and dining guest for things easily cleanable, although it’s part of thier “policy” you sign. Simply put, I can’t recommend this hotel because they follow policy when it comes to your wallet but not properly cleaning the pool in a timely manner for its guest by 8:00am. The hotel should remember to pick and choose its battles. I come to the Philippines 4-5 times a year and can say charging for minor things leads to a loss in customers, loss of business, and motivates customers to write less than great reviews based upon experiences. The deposit the hotel charges upon arrival is 1000.00pnp"

"As the 1st Scottish person to grace their hotel(apparently) they were understanding of my excitedness and generally chat and accommodating. Shout out to Marie the receptionist who was lovely. Their dogs will want your food, but you've not to feed them. Pool was good has a diving board as well. The bed was decent and fit its purpose, shower was okay , toilet good and AC excellent. The food was lovely, very tasteful and reasonablu priced. For the price, and location to Cebu Airport I recommend this hotel for a few nights."

"We had a very unpleasant experience staying at WJV Inn Marigondon and would not recommend this property to other travelers. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The room was visibly dirty when we arrived. The bed did not appear properly cleaned, the bathroom looked unhygienic, and there was a strong unpleasant odor in the room that did not go away. The walls were stained, and the overall condition of the space made it feel poorly maintained and neglected. What was especially disappointing was that the room looked very different from the photos shown online. Based on the listing, we expected a clean and decent place to stay, but the actual condition of the room was far below those expectations. Staying here made us feel uncomfortable because of how unclean the environment was. This is not just about high expectations — basic cleanliness and accurate representation should be the minimum for any accommodation. We hope the management improves their cleanliness standards and updates their online photos to reflect the real condition of the property so future guests know what to expect."
