The condo we stayed in was tidy but smelled damp and like mold and mildew as such was on one of the pillows. We tried to upgrade to a two bedroom because we needed more room and we were unable to because of the contract but also the smell was horrible, we needed to get multiple air fresheners and candles. We were told it was inspected and no mold or mildew was discovered.. they also left the pillow in there but gave us a new pillow case. Parking was hard to come by and the pools are quite far apart but they don’t allow golf carts on the property even though you have to pay for parking (inclusive of two vehicles). Not sure if we will return unless we are able to stay in a different condo that doesn’t have a putrid smell.

The condo we got must have not been rented out in a while. When we tried to shower, the whole place would smell like bad eggs. There was some stray hairs in the bedding. And a random hair was taped onto the master bath tub. The rooms were not super clean, the carpets were gross. You can tell it’s been a while since anyone stayed because the balcony furniture had a thick layer of dust on it. And there was poop looking substance on the floor of the master bedroom. And there was a strong wood polish smell coming from the headboards that made it hard to sleep. Front desk people were very nice but couldn’t help the situation. We checked out early

We loved the pool areas. I hate the indoor area was not open during our stay, but all of the pool areas were very enjoyable. The specific unit we were in smelled awful in the hallway and had the stench of marijuana. The unit had a musty smell. Not sure if maybe all the units are different and maybe there are some updated units that would have enhanced the experience, but that would have been a great option. Other hallways also did not seem to smell of marijuana, so I think we unfortunately just stayed in an unfavorable unit.

This property was definitely NOT worth the money spent on a two night stay. We rented a two bedroom condo for the weekend and upon check in, found the room to be dirty and just unacceptable especially since we had a baby with us. The floors were dirty, there were stains on the counters and when we opened the cabinet to get a cup out, a roach crawled out. When we went in the bathroom, there was hair all over the shower floor and even the towels and the toilet seat and lid had hair on it. There was bug guts on the walls and the bed sheets even smelled like they weren’t clean. We went to take one of the extra blankets out the closet for the baby since it was cold in the room and there were dead bugs in the bag with the blanket. We are not ones to complain about accommodations, but this was disgusting. We have paid less for better accommodations. We talked to the front desk over the phone about the state of the room and we were told there was nothing they could do about it and we would have to take it up with Expedia. In the morning, I’m assuming what was the maintenance guy showed up at our door and asked, “what do you want cleaned” and in response, my husband stated that we needed everything cleaned because it didn’t seem like any of it had been done. We went and spoke to the front desk about it and the manager stated she was sorry and that was unacceptable and that she would compensate us with $75 gift card to the restaurant on property.

Very fun and convenient. Lots of pools. Great little beach bar between buildings A and B with nice bar tender. There are tons of people. Never expect the beach not to be crowded.

When I first started to book the stay, the rate was posted for an amount I was comfortable with. I went through the process of booking and I was shocked to see beside the usual taxes and fees, there was also an additional outrageous fee added on for rental charges. Also, we we were charged for parking. Usual check in time is 4pm or later. We found out the office closed at 5pm, so basically they give you an hour to check in. If you want to check in earlier, they charge a separate fee. You only get one set of towels and linens during your stay. If you need clean towels or linens, you have to take them to the laundry room and pay for cleaning them. I've never seen or experienced anything like this before. If any of this is acceptable to you then by all means book your vacation at Myrtle Beach Resorts..this will be my one and only time.

I really enjoyed the lazy river area. The larger pool was also awesome. The food at the Quarterdeck restaurant was excellent as were the drinks. The entertainment was adequate just not my style of music(I like rock n roll). Our studio apartment was clean and well appointed. The only complaint is the bathroom was too tiny and the sink to wash your hands was outside the bathroom.

Mold on the ceilings you could smell the mold and the building we were in stunk. Was thinking it was a nice size room ended up being very small for 4 people. Air conditioning didn't work either leg early because it was too hot to sleep and the smell.

If you enjoy wasting hours of your vacation being locked out of your room, then this is your place. After we checked into our room and spent the afternoon at the beach, we went to dinner. We came back at 9:00 and our door would not unlock. The maintenance guy was awesome but it took 2 hours and he had to climb a ladder and break into our condo to get in. Once he was in, the door was still locked and he had to take the lock and door knob off so we could get in. This means we could have been locked in our room too. I was locked away from medication that I needed. We were told maintenance would be by the next morning to fix the door. They didn't show up. I called the front desk and no one knew what was going on. The maintenance guy showed up and left, I had to call back to get him to come back. He said he would make a copy of the key and be right back. We waited till after noon and he still hadn't returned so we finally left. A lot of hours wasted sitting around and waiting. Other things to note- you have to walk pretty far to get to the beach, the place isn't that updated, our beds were uncomfortable and loud- like sleeping on an air mattress. We also had several people on the same floor complain that they had issues with their doors not unlocking. At least this place has Kevin the maintenance guy, he stayed until 11:00 pm to make sure we got into our room. I would not go back or recommend this place.
