"Most kind and amazing management and staff Loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi-only one in downtown Austin. Unfortunately, we had several disappointments. The room was super small and no coffee or tea in the room. The elevators were having problems There are 3 elevators and only 1 of them was working to serve 16 floors Then, one day, the only operating elevator also stopped working! Fortunately, we could use the cleaning staff elevator but it was a bit anxiety-producing since we were on the 10th floor Hopefully, they will get all 3 elevators in operation because it causes people to wait extra long times with only one working It is also not very safe! "

"Recently merged with the neighboring hotel, so the check in desk, entrance, etc seemed like a hike to our room, but it was well signed so we never got lost. Desk staff were very helpful. Great location to go to the Sixth Street bars. "

"The staff went far beyond what I expected for my 80th birthday. They had a card signed by the staff, a chocolate cake and a bottle of champagne. I ate at a restaurant which caused me to have an allergic reaction and they went out of their way until I got the medication I needed. A superb staff and a wonderful hospitality creative group."

"First room I got the toilet did not flush properly, the a/c would not cool leaving the room at 78, and the fridge did not work. The second room floor was dirty left the bottom of our feet black, light in the bathroom was literally a wire with a bulb hanging from the ceiling as if the room was not finished being renovated. The light by the bed was hanging from wall and missing lamp shade and the door would not close without a considerable amount of effort. Property is definitely dated which wouldn’t be a big deal but it’s also poorly maintained. Kind of falling apart. Staff was kind and helpful and promptly switched rooms for us when notified. Location is great! Like many ppl said in other reviews I thought that for the price and location that it would be ok if the rooms were dated and the had minimal upgrades but I was wrong. The condition of this hotel is really unacceptable. Maybe the rooms I had weren’t the best they had but they definitely need to do repairs and renovations. TLDR. Rooms are very dated and poorly maintained. Basically falling apart. A/c issues, toilet issues, dirty, fridge not working, and in state of disarray. Staff is kind and helpful Great location and great price. You have to pay for parking like 45$"
