"The proprietors are beyond fantastic!! They offer a set meal dinner every night (menu changes) and it’s fantastic!!! Breakfast and coffee are wonderful too. Coin operated washer dryer was great! They helped us get our add on tickets to our Swiss rail pass to get to the must see mountain tops was extremely helpful! I’m telling you this place is great! "Charming hotel, but it is old so expect creaky wooden floors and loud doors. It's quite the hike from the train so if you have luggage definitely call for the shuttle. Breakfast was delicious. We had dinner there 2 nights and the food, while expensive (but everything is in Switzerland, was superb. Staff was very helpful and kind."

"A really wonderful hotel in the magical town of Murren. Our rooms were very nice with comfortable beds- except for the cot that my adult son had to sleep on as #3 in the room- that was thin and somewhat uncomfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly, even remembering my weird coffee preferences Breakfast was excellent, with lots of options. The town itself is amazing- perched on the edge of a mountain with essentially no cars and cable cars or trains to get you where you're going. We wish we'd booked more time here."
