"Needs to be updated and maintained better. No extra toilet paper, one tiny garbage can. Dead insects in the bathroom light fixture. No exhaust fan in bathroom. I am sure the staff wants it to be better"

"The hotel was poorly staffed. The breakfast was not fully stocked and all hot options were cold. The person working in the kitchen complained to us that staff was not showing up to work, and she didnt have enough help. Our room was ok, but it was not that clean. Bathroom floor was not cleaned and there was dirt on on the moldings. The bed was ok. We will look for another hotel near Lansing next time."

"Very nice hotel,convenient to get to the UM campus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were clean, nice continental breakfast and coffee bar, plenty of parking. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Best thing about the hotel was that the front desk staff member was nice. The hotel is in poor shape and the reviews and ratings are misleading imo. The room smelled mildewy, the bathroom had mold and a strong smell, the bedding was stained (altho appeared washed) and the sound traveled so that every time a person went in or out of their rooms the doors slammed and woke us up. Our room door was hard to open and the windows ce machine was broken and no vending machines worked."

"My check in went very well. The staff was very nice. The hotel was clean and didn't smell stale like some other hotels do. The hot breakfast was good and fresh."
