"Lovely, clean, big room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. AC and wifi works well. Beautiful, clean pool. Free coffee, hot water and iced soft drink , all day , in the lobby. Staff helpful. Breakfast buffet not extensive - but more than enough to start the day. Not many restaurants nearby. Hotel offers poolside snacks only after 2 pm. It is an easy walk to the city center where there are lots of places to eat. Felt safe walking back at 10 pm. Civic guards at practically every crossing. Would happily stay again. "

"If downtown is where you want to explore, you cannot beat this location. Just one block from the main cathedral and park where there is always something going on. Restaurants and all kinds of points of interest within walking distance. And buses that go everywhere, within walking distance as well. The staff here is wonderful and can't do enough to help. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms are not modern, white bathrobe type of accommodation, but they are clean, and for somewhere I only went to sleep, perfectly functional. in the morning one can go up to the third level where the pool is and watch the sun rise over the back of the gorgeous cathedral. Wonderful."

"The location is excellent and within walking distance to various attractions such as markets, restaurants, bakeries, and shops. The staff is friendly and willing to go above and beyond to accommodate guests. The hotel is somewhat outdated with no safe, microwave, or hair dryer, but if you're okay without these amenities, the stay is quite great. "

"My stay was perfect in every way. The room was comfortable and clean with the expected amenities. The pool was a good size and depth, a great way to beat the heat of the afternoon. Staff were very friendly and responsive to any issues. The hotel itself is within walking distance of many restaurants, museums, markets and shops. A great place to stay while in Merida!"

"Location is amazing!! Near by restaurants and a lot of activities available in that area. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is a bit outdated could definitely improve, but overall great experience staying there. "

"Our stay was lovely. The staff are consistently attentive and friendly. The beds are very comfortable. The shower pressure is excellent and hot water and AC work great. The kitchen specializes in Spanish style cooking. Coffee was weak - not our style but the breakfast was excellent. We had reserved the unit with a kitchen but it was very basic and it would not meet the purpose of real cooking so we asked to move. They accommodated us very quickly placing us in a room by the pool. It was perfect for our one week stay. "

"Clean room, large bathroom, well situated. I didn’t try the pool as it was very shaded and not the most inviting. Gym was small but served its purpose. Most of the hotel staff were lovely though we did encounter some people who weren’t so helpful. We would return. "

"Don’t get me wrong, this hotel is pretty basic. What I loved about it was the location, the building itself, the pool go for a dip after a hot day of walking and most of all, the staff. Isabel at the front desk was wonderful. My compliments to Armando as well for his kindness. Housekeeping, maintenance, the breakfast chef… all the staff was very kind. Thanks for 2 great stays!"
