The property is in a right place. It has a beautiful view of the volcanos and Lake Atitlan. Not totally impress with rooms not having small refrigerators, Iron no security box. Those items are important for staying comfortably.

Hotel Atitlán
Beautiful property and friendly staff. only complaint is restaurant was not great for dinner and no coffee in room or available in lounge. Only available to go after restaurant opened.

Refugio del Volcan
The place was great value for the money. You are about a 10 minute ride from the city center finding a tuc tuc was pretty easy. We were charged anywhere from 10 to 25 Q per ride per person. It depended on the person and they can be negotiated with. The place is a steep walk up so just consider that ...
