「The condo was clean but smelled of disinfectant. The smell was so unpleasant that I had to keep the window open all the time. Although the window stayed open for the entire time, the smell remained. As soon as I stepped into this condo, I called the BEE management and asked for a different condo, but the person in charge claimed this could not be provided and refused to reimburse me. 「Loved this boutique hotel next to the university of costa rico. Stayed here a week. Great breakfast and restaurant on site. Peace in the midst of lovely san jose. Helped me with airport transportation and 2 excursion days. Pura vida」

「This was a very nice, clean, and quaint place. If you ate going to be around the University of Costa Rica and lots of bars and clubs not far away, this is a good choice.」

「The breakfast was excellent! Everything is super clean in the room. The staff is super friendly and professional. My only complaint is the comfort of the bed and the fact that you can hear a lot of noise (the walls aren't very soundproof).」

「The whole hotel doesn’t look like the photos. There are cockroaches and dirty. There is a whole night club downstairs and you will not be able to sleep with how loud it is in this hotels. Loud people loud cars everywhere. The bathroom smelled of sewage. Your in a prison where you have to ask them to open the door to leave and come back in. Horrible experience don’t waste your money. 」

「No AC, loud noises from street (lots of motorcycles), loud music from lobby (karaoke machine?), bed with no blanket (only top sheet), and bathroom out of TP and paper towels. However, hotel staff were super friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any inquiries. Decent storage in room closet. Area is secure (garage door and front door locked at night). Had a private room for 4 and it did the trick for a 1 night stay before early flight but otherwise would be rough. 」
