"We stayed at the property for 2 nights while doing our ring road tour. It was nice to be able to do laundry after 5 days of one night stays. There is no dryer, but with two days we had no problem getting 4 loads washed and dried while there. Nice to have a kitchen and living room to hang out in after just hotels and guest houses. Bring earplugs, the night life and traffic can be loud at night with windows open, even during the week. Great central location, took a day trip up to Húsavík for lunch, whale watching, and to the Geosea pools. Tons to do within an hour of Akuryeri."
