We had to resort to boiling the kettle to use hot water. We contacted the property 18th Feb to raise our concerns and did not get a reply. 「Nice location within 5-10 minutes walking to Akureyri downtown. Ample street parking. The building exterior needs painting. The unit is updated with flooring, bathroom, and kitchens. However, it is a basement unit and the entrance to the unit is undesirable. You have to through a short side door and walking down into the basement.」

「Staff are generally nice and friendly, there is a bar downstairs which serves good food, many locals came for dinner so is quite vibrant if you would like to mingle with people from different counties. However the room does not include duvet which means you either have to rent one (1100 isk) or bring your own sleeping bag. You will have to bring your luggage upstairs too.」

「有點歧視亞洲人。我不喜歡被安排在二樓，一樓還沒滿，我跟櫃臺講我腿腳不方便，她還跟我說，才幾個台階而已，二樓風景比較好。我們回來就要休息了，要風景幹嘛？後來才明白在打發我。上去果然只有我一戶。 浴室的下水道水流很慢，洗起澡來很不痛快。其他簡易的玻離桌椅搖搖晃晃。 早餐很好吃，但下次不來了。」

「A beautiful guesthouse personally operated by a family of seniors. Beautiful ocean facing house with multiple individual rooms for renting. There is a common kitchen for use. Rooms were very well stocked with amenities and clean and tidy rooms.」
