「Everything was very well taken care of except the pool building which was an awful first impression of the property since it is the first thing you see upon arrival. Rotten and decaying siding and what isn’t is In need of repainting. A sharp contrast to the rest of the buildings and grounds which were beautiful.」

「The owner was very attentive and helpful with all of our requests. He was truly thankful for us staying at the Inn. The Inn was nicely decorated and full of history which was shared throughout. 「I visit Springfield at least once a year, this is my second stay at the hartness house, I’ve stayed in the mansion and in the hotel, I have been very happy with both options. The mansion is stunning and enjoying a coffee and pastry in the mansion in the morning is lovely. I’m glad to see this historic building being taken care of so thoughtfully. 」
