Liked: Cleanliness
Room was clean, staff was polite, parking was easy.
Very nice stay! The place doesn't look that great from the road, but the room was super comfortable, very clean and spacious. And the staff was very nice. The town of Claremont was a treat: very friendly and community-oriented. We would definitely return to Claremont and the Motor Lodge when we are back in the area.
- well equipped room: microwave, tv, coffee machine, fridge, AC, towels
- very clean and neat
- comfortable bed, sofa, and chairs
- quiet
- pleasant and helpful staff
My wife and I were very pleased with our stay at the Claremont Motor Lodge. We had a very comfortable stay. We will be stopping here again on our next trip out to Claremont, NH.
Was a wonderful experience. Clean room, polite staff, quiet area.

Disliked: Amenities
The room was very small and clean. The bed was acceptable but the pillows could be used as basketballs - I’m sure they would bounce! Don’t even bother making coffee. The entire hotel, especially outside, is woefully outdated. It makes for a terrible first impression. It is quiet and we parked just outside the door to our room.
Of all the budget motels I've stayed in this is the nicest. The beds are good; the bathroom has been renovated, and the bedroom is attractively decorated. Plus the owner has decorated the parking area with lovely flowers (at least it was in July). I look forward to staying here again.
The bathroom was very clean. The decor is a mishmash of decades and pretty tacky. But that would have been okay for the low cost. The main complaint was that the room smelled, as if the air conditioner filter needed cleaning. We tried to air it out by opening both windows but no luck.
