Mattress and pillows was the most uncomfortable. Small area and no view was reflected on cheaper price, but most disappointed on mattress and pillow comfort.

Property was rundown. Supposedly housekeeping was scheduled for every third day, but we didn’t see them until we were checking out on 4th day. Bath was dirty. Baths are inherently humid and so is SC, so more frequent cleaning could have prevented shower from getting moldy. Bkfst was very so-so. They had instant oatmeal, but no was to cook it (hot water microwave). Room’s microwave tried to burn paper cups available for hot beverages.

The interior smells very musty and at times I could smell the cigarette smoke I stayed for one Tuesday night and my flight was delayed on Wednesday. I Requested in later check out by one or two hours minimum to which they original reply was that I would have to pay for an An extra nights stay. I again requested just one hour more, which they said no the Room was already slated for another occupant. If that were the case, why then did they originally indicate that they could extend it to me for another pay. On top of this, The staff is rude in general

Overall good, but property did not allow my service dog to accompany me in the breakfast area. Was rudely told by an employee that pets are not allowed in the breakfast area. Explained that the pet was a service animal and she pointed to a sign by the room that referred to pets. We ate breakfast elsewhere.

Our stay was awesome. No complaints and just compliments all around. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy going and fun. The rooms are in excellent condition and well cleaned. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The location is perfect for everything you need to do or see. Finally, the price was way lower than other hotels in the area and is worth every dollar.

Pet fee was only accepted in cash. Desk agent was unable to print me a receipt at check in when giving cash payment and was unable to print a receipt at checkout showing cash payment. the location was extremely convenient to go to the historic Charleston downtown and close to Sullivan beach & Isle of Palms. the breakfast was so bad that we went to the close by diner to eat.

Beware of Room 225
This is an excellent hotel except for room 225!!! I guess this room is over the hotel’s laundry room and when the washing machines start spinning, room 225 starts shaking like an earthquake! I literally thought I was having a panic attack with how my body was shaking in the bed!!! That killed my experience, but I’ve stayed here many times before but never in room 225!!!
