International travelers should be aware of a few things: there are no soaps, shampoo, etc included unless a previous guest leaves some behind. "Do not let the exterior fool you. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are relatively spacious compared to other European hotel rooms, you have a private bath, there's no a/c but the windows open and there's a fan. The breakfast buffet was minimalist, but there is a communal kitchen to which you have access 24/7. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is located a block from a grocery store and less than a mile from Gamla Stan. The hostess is incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough good things...

"Located on the small harbor and looking toward the mainland the location of this hotel is lovely. The staff is kind and made us feel welcome. Dinners were great and breakfast was fantastic! We loved it here!"
