The positives- the staff was very friendly, the views were beautiful and the horses and animals on the ranch were great to have around. We did a horseback riding trip and it was lovely, great guides and friendly staff to help with our first horse ride.
The negatives- we stayed in a wagon and knew about the shared bathrooms. What we didn’t know about was the deplorable state they would be in. There was 3 bathrooms for about 40-50 people, and more up the hill that were not fully functioning. They smelled terrible, had standing water in them, the shower stalls were covered in mold and mildew and there was no way i wanted to brush my teeth in there let alone shower. The bathrooms are up on a trailer and there was buckets catching water beneath the showers the entire time. The trash cans on the property were overflowing with food and cans- yet we were told there would be a hefty fee if we had any food/containers in our wagon- because of bear safety. We had to pay for our own bedding and towels because the wagons did not come with them- the sheets had black hairs all over them as I made the beds and several stains. The restaurant was very expensive- we paid $94 at dinner for 2 burgers and 2 kids grilled cheeses and then $97 for a waffle, an order of pancakes and a breakfast burrito. Counter service only, the restaurant was filled with flies, and the bartender was covered in sweat soaking through his shirt.
