「The property was very walkable to places to eat. The small bar closest to the front desk was very busy and the bartender seemed overwhelmed. She was not only tending bar, but she was also taking food orders and serving them. The property has a lot of tour bus groups and that is why everything was busy. We received a $15 drink and food perk, but didn't use it because it was never mentioned when we were in the bar.」

「The bright spots were that the room was clean and had a full sized and fully functional microwave and refrigerator/freezer. It also had a nice little 2-burner stove, and a faucet and sink in the little kitchen area. Unfortunately there were no pots or pans, plates or utensils, and no dishwashing liquid or dish towels. 「Surprisingly nice hotel - it would be perfect for people attending events at the monument. They have a very nice pool, breakfast was good and they offered a reception with drinks and popcorn at night including a cultural training from a Lakota gentleman. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The laundry on site was handy and the staff were super helpful as well. The gym is in the basement so we didn’t end up using that and the hot tub jets didn’t work.」

「We rented a king suite with a balcony. It is a new property, so everything is really nice. It was clean, the housekeeping the staff was excellent. The breakfast was OK. Location is wonderful if you are looking to explore all of the natural beauty in South Dakota. We would definitely stay here again.」

「This hotel gets an A+ from me for several reasons. The hotel is very clean and in a very good location in Rapid City. The breakfast every morning was awesome with a lot of selections plus an array of fruit. The scones, though, were our absolute favorite breakfast treat. We were also lucky enough to be staying on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday which is when they offer a "Social Menu" from 5:30-7pm which comfortably fed my family of four with a delicious main entree and side dish, salad bar,...
