"Room was shabby. Nicks and scrapes on the woodwork, torn curtains, old lamp shades. The room was dark and dingy. Bathroom counter had toothpaste on it from previous guests. Beds feel like they are made of straw and so do the pillows. "

"We were disappointed with our stay. Two main points were that our toilet was not working properly and we had to get someone to come fix it. We told the front desk at 9 am and it still was fixed at 5 pm. Two days later we had the same issue and the person who plunged the toilet left dirty water all over the bathroom floor (we had a toddler with us). Additionally, we saw one of the servers use his hands to take a piece of bacon out of the tray at the breakfast buffet and eat it. "

"The hotel was very clean and nice. The staff was lovely, and the location is very convenient and close to a metro station as well as the MMFA. Our only note is that the toilet was a bit annoying to flush and it would have been helpful to have a mirror in the room, not just in the bathroom. "

"The breakfast was not as good as expected. My expectations were quite high after seeing the photos and especially because Expedia listed this hotel as “top rated” for breakfast. I went around 9:45 a.m. and the selection was almost empty. The croissants were crushed, the coffee was cold, and the eggs were very overcooked. Overall, it was very basic — cereal, yogurt, sliced bread, and not much else. I was a bit disappointed with this part of the stay, especially since we partly chose this hotel because of their breakfast description. Also, the bathtub is very small, and the floor in the room felt like it had a dip or hole underneath the carpet."
