Upon arrival, the escalator was broken, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the lobby. We were greeted, signing in was a breeze, and then the room. The room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet, with friendly and helpful staff. I attended an event at the civic center, and was very surprised to learn that it was easy walking distance from the hotel, and I felt very safe walking to it alone.
