"With all things California and the cost to do anything there, I put this review in the perspective it was expensive and a bit overpriced at this location for rooms. The units were next to a busy road, you could hear every noise from flushing and showers running and was not east access to its corner location. Overall the two day stay was average and no issues except listed above, if I were to stay in Monterey again I would choose another location."

"The room was very clean. It was a little run down. The door in the bathroom was repaired not very well a few times on the bottom which was unappealing. Also we were at a loss about the amenities provided by the hotel. They do have a refrigerator in the room. Staff was professional but no one told us anything about the hotel including their elevator system. A kindly co-guest showed us what to do after telling us her family took a while to figure out the system also. The food at the restaurant was not very good. We were too tired to go out. I recommend going out or ordering take out. We did have truly wonderful massages at the spa and my husband had a lovely anti-oxidant facial. I highly recommend the spa; it was lovely. Our stay’s highlight was the spa."

"We were able to check in early which was helpful since we had been driving all night. The family entertainment area was a hit! The room was quiet and clean. I was able to get an appointment at the spa which was also very relaxing. The choices of food on property was limited to the coffee cafe and the restaurant ( or the golf course at lunch time) but this was not a huge issue for our family since we wanted to go to the wharf for food. We would definitely stay here again!"
