The staff is very friendly and kind, the beach - beautiful. The place seemed unorganized. Long wait to check in and no map was shown of the property or any info regarding our stay- just download the app. The Expedia rep did guide us thankfully. No one new where the fitness classes were, mini bar was not stocked on arrival or restocked unless requested (three times before it was). The second day housekeeping took all our used wash cloths and any form of towels and didn't replace them so when we got back from our day we had to call and wait 30 minutes before receiving fresh ones delivered by a kind person happy to help! Both dinners we waited over 45 minutes after ordering for our food and the time in between courses was loooong too! No cups by the coffee machine, no cups by the juice. The beach - beautiful. The staff friendly.

For the first 3 days, the initial room had a bad ceiling water leak that they attempted to fix twice with no luck. Finally we were moved to a different room that was also in need of update, but it was ok. Some of the staff members were nice, others were rude, and almost all of them highly inappropriate asking personal questions, and obviously, not trained to deal with diversity and inclusion. We are a 2 female couple and everyone asked if we were daughter and mom. We did not enjoy the food; most options were very greasy. The a la carte restaurant options were ok overall, but would not recommend the Asian one (very loud, servers are slow, food is horrible). The drinks were as bad as they can be and staff could use a better bartender training to differentiate between a margarita, mojito, or perhaps, any other drink. However, the area we enjoyed the most was Las Brisas bar. Although all the mix drinks taste bad, and the beer was not ice cold as we expected, the staff was amazing and welcoming. Unfortunately the hotel failed to meet our expectations for this very special milestone celebration (10 year marriage anniversary) and we are not sure if it is a placed that we would either visit again or recommend to friends or family. We understand that culturally our marriage might look different to the people of Jamaica, but the hotel could use the investment to train their personnel...i mean, come on people, it is 2026.

The rooms were reasonably clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. However we saw a cockroach crawling on the food. I informed a member of staff but the food was not removed, which was concerning. It made us very cautious when eating in the restaurants.

My stay at the Palladium Resort was overall enjoyable, and this property definitely has many strengths that make it a place worth considering — especially for travelers looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful surroundings. With a few improvements, it could be truly exceptional.

The Grand Palladium Hotel is in urgent need of renovation. There is still visible hurricane damage, with some areas closed, but many problems clearly predate the storm. The furniture is very old and worn out, several areas show long-standing structural issues, and many sections need repainting. Dining service is disappointing. If you arrive even an hour before closing, empty dishes are not refilled. The dining areas receive only superficial cleaning. While the staff works hard, they are clearly understaffed for the number of guests. Management needs to invest in renovations and hire more staff to improve the overall guest experience.

Positives: Overall a good resort. Great pools, good location next to the beach. Checkin and checkoout process was smooth. Rooms are spacious, we stayed in Junior suite. overall Food is good too. Ease of doing bookings for excursions through Juta or other options. Negatives: Service is extremely slow. We requested extra bedding, the guy came after 30 minutes or so, but didn't bring the blanket. He said he will come back with it but never returned! We waited for 30 minutes and finally went to bed. Tried calling front desk multiple times, nobody picked up the phone. There are multiple restaurants but not all of them are open on any day. In fact, each restaurant is open only for like 2 days a week so in reality there were only 2-3 options for meals. Buffet was nice but need some variety on a day to day basis.
