「Bathroom door was hard to open and close. Sticking at the top. Flies and mosquitoes in room when we arrived」

「Tout près de Kamouraska, hotel très propre avec beaucoup de commodité, frigidaire, poêle, tout pour se faire à manger. La seule chose c'est que ca se trouve au 3ième étage pour ceux qui ont des difficultés avec leur genoux. Ne perdez pas votre code car si vous vous enfermez hors de la chambre vous n'avez pas de clés pour entrer dans la chambre.」

「L’emplacement est très beau, la vue des balcons est magnifique. C’est le point fort de l’établissement. Cependant, chambre avec tapis et odeur de renfermé/cigarette. La salle à manger toute vitrée donne accès à la vue mais les tables près de la baie vitrée ne sont pas disponible pour le dejeuner des 9h30 am en raison du souper!!!!! Vous manger donc en plein milieu de la salle ….」

「Overall a great stay. Clean. Helpful staff. Easy access to rooms and amenities. With two heavy footed boys in our party the floor shakes as you walk and there was a cupboard in our room that doesn’t have silencer bumpers for the wood door so the door banged against the cupboard whenever they walked through the room (which was a lot, my 12 year old is energetic). For a party with adults probably fine. ;)」

「The pros is the amenities, the views, and the proximity to trails which are fantastic. The nightly entertainment is great and the ability to roast marshmallows on the fire was fun. The pools are fantastic. The cons: the service was definitely sub-par for a 5 star hotel. This seems to be due to difficulty recruiting staff in the area. The rooms are fine but very outdated and reflective of what you would expect at a 3 star hotel. The biggest con: the food at the property is awful, especially...

「As an English speaking guest, they were accomodating and very welcoming. Rooms were beautifully decorated while retaining the period features - beds very comfortable. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic with local fares and amazing views of the seaway. Hoping to return someday soon!」

「A traditional Auberge with gracious hosts. We enjoyed our stay at Auberge La Châtelaine and Laurent and Quentin were very attentive to our wishes. Homemade breakfasts were delicious with local Malbaie specialties. Would highly recommend for those looking for a traditional auberge with wonderful hospitality. Merci Laurent et Quentin.」
