Comfortable room and nice place close to everything in La Malbaie. Room was a bit small, but quite ok for one person. Staff was super friendly and available. Breakfast was great. Would certainly return.

For 120$, I was there a couple of hours to sleep and take a shower. Tv wifi my own bathroom, nice foam mattress, staff was wonderful. Can’t really complain. It’s a clean place.

Homely and welcoming

Lovely welcoming, homely and comfortable place to stay. Friendly welcome from the owner Laura. Beautiful view of the Malbaie and St Lawrence rivers from the room. Lovely indoor terrace with a view. Good, healthy breakfast. Also ate in the evening, tapas-style dishes which were very good.

Outstanding location and welcoming pub atmosphere

This is a great location in the center of town and on the St. Lawrence River. In the evening it has a true pub atmosphere with regulars locals who welcome guests. This might be the single best feature. There are tapas available. For alternate dining, there are restaurants of many different types within walking distance, including ones offering elegant French cuisine. We are already planning to return in 2024.

We stayed 2 nights at Les Pinsons des Rives. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our host Laura. There is a small cafe bistro on the main floor which closes early at 9 pm and the hotel is very quiet after that. Also, there lots of restaurants all walkable near the Inn. A breakfast is offered in the mornings at a very reasonable price and well worth the selection that is offered. The room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable with a view of the river. We highly recommend the Inn. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive.
