Search Inns in Monroe

"We stayed at Sleep Inn for a few nights. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was decent enough. But what put a damper on our stay was how thin the walls were. The hotel has posted quiet hours from 10pm-7am, but our first night there our next door neighbors were extremely loud laughing, talking, and dropping things all of which we could hear perfectly. We gave them some time to quiet down before calling the front desk and they quieted down for a few mins then started back up. We finally got to bed around midnight after trying to go to sleep for several hours. The next day we went to the front desk and asked if those people had checked out or if we could move rooms. Thankfully they had checked out and to the staff's credit they blocked off that room so we could get some sleep. But they only blocked it off for one night. The third night more people went into the room again and they were loud, but abided somewhat close to the quiet hours. When we were there, there weren't that many cars in the parking lot, so we thought it would have been nice if the hotel spaced out the guests if they know the walls are so thin. There are signs everywhere letting you know you can get earplugs at the front desk and tips on how to get better sleep. But for a hotel called Sleep Inn you think they would have invested in thicker walls. I've never had this issue at Hampton Inn or the Marriott. "

"The hotel is beautiful, boutique style scenery. The staff were all friendly and always helpful. Their in house restaurant is upscale and serves a lovely atmosphere. The pool/hot tub amenities are seasonal"

"The tvs are pretty outdated. Wish it at least had Netflix. But overall the room was clean and not a bad spot to stay if you need to chill for a night or two. Gets the job done. Breakfast options were kinda limited but at least the offer it complimentary."

"Dirty. Smells like crap in hall ways. Staff is the worst.. manager is even worse than employees. House keeping staff don’t even clean the room well. Sticky floors. Hair on bed. Hair in clean washed towels.. never mind the homeless people staying there. Cars damaged in parking lot few times to mine. Manager does nothing about it. Personal property left in room stolen by employees. Manager did nothing about it. Just lies from his mouth. Wouldn’t stay here ever. And I’d recommend spending few more extra bucks if you value your health cause this hotel is dirty. "
