The variety of rooms at Hockley is deceiving. Very few have been renovated and if you pay for a renovated room you have a safe on the bottom floor (have to get down on your hands and knees to use it) no dresser (only shelves), the room is very dark, and the bathroom has no tub and very small. One sink and small vanity. Heated toilet seat is nice. Quite expensive

We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the waitstaff were wonderful.
Dinner at the cabin restaurant was also very good though my chicken was a little overcooked.
I wouldn’t say the front desk staff were overly friendly, but they were efficient. The room was nicely laid out, though you could see some wear and tear on the furniture and the bulbs had gone out in a couple of lights. Grounds are very pretty and well kept and the pool was the perfect temperature for a late September swim
Everything from beginning to end was amazing! From the Customer Service at Front Desk to the Service at the restaurant. The facility was clean and definitely recommend the spa.

We had a great time at Hockley Valley Resort celebrating our anniversaries with two other couples. We had an excellent meal at Cabin and loved being close Adamo Winery and the Bruce Trail for hiking. We did notice that the resort is somewhat rundown. The registration desk area was cluttered and dirty and there were other areas of the hotel that need some good maintenance. The restaurant dinner staff were amazing! Front desk staff were not overly attentive. I hope the resort gets an update. We would love to return!
The breakfast was good, plenty of food, however, the potato wedges were a bit overcooked. The service was excellent and the servers were very polite. The parking is spacious, but we couldn’t find the charger for our EV, good that the supercharge is 12 mins away only. The room was spacious and the view was super, facing the pond and the golf course and the air conditioning was quiet and not too loud for me.
Perfect for family celebration. Tons of activities. Great outdoor site. Nice golf course. Cabin resto had great food. Our waitress, Catalina was very professional and helpful. Attention to details could be improved. As a suggestion, when someone mentioned it is their birthday, it would be a nice touch to write Happy Birthday, on their dessert plate (no candle needed) or have a note in their bedroom. Except for those suggestions, it was a good experience.
Staff were very friendly. We really liked dinner at the Cabin restaurant.

Room was clean and bathroom updated. But other areas of the room and facilities are very tired and run down.
The breakfast buffet (that we didn't initially realize was included) was excellent and we were able to eat outside on the deck. Unfortunately we couldn't find a table or chair that didn't wobble.
Overall stay was okay but not worth the money.
