COVID-19 may have changed the way we travel, but it hasn't shut down our love of exploring. Here are a few tips on how to tackle the new challenges of traveling:

• Understand the rules and restrictions in both your destination and origin. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so remember to check before you book.
• When you go through airport checkpoints, keep your face mask on. You will be required to briefly lower it to confirm your identity. Those who refuse to wear a mask may face civil penalties and may also be escorted from the terminal.
• Rather than handing a TSA officer your boarding pass, place it straight on the scanner yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• You can take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on luggage. This will need to be removed for X-ray scanning.
• Remove items from your pocket, like your small change and phone, and put them in your carry-on instead of into bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray screening. Putting it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA employee to handle and inspect your belongings.

• Iberia - this airline is known for providing passenger masks and cleaning with disinfectant.
