"We stayed here 1 night for easy access to Nintendo Museum. Check in is 4pm and our reservation was 4.30, so we were worried it'd be a bit tight. We let the host know and the team were great at getting us checked in quickly and smoothly and set up for our museum trip. Honestly we're a bit sad we only stayed 1 night! "The hotel itself is very clean and what’s really great is that it’s right by Kyoto station in the city and that helped with commuting alot to where we traveled to. The staff however know very little English and not so helpful, they claimed their laundry service was cheap but our load of Laundry was 220$ USD, which is unheard of here in the states. You also have to pay to use the gym and the pool. And there is also a tourist tax that is charged per night. Other than the cleanliness of the hotel and us feeling safe I don’t think I would recommend the hotel. To pay so much already I felt like the extra charges were kind of not worth staying here. This was one of the most expensive hotels we stayed at due to us being in town for 4 days , we stayed in cheaper hotels half the price and those were way better than what we paid for this one."

"Loved this gem of a place! Our family of 4 stayed in a spacious triple room and it was beautifully laid out and very clean. It was our first time at an onsen so we were a bit nervous, but it’s worth the money and time because the hot spring is so relaxing and therapeutic. Plus the treats and breakfast are amazing! It’s also very convenient for food and shopping as its nearby Kyoto train station. If you want to experience the best in traditional Japanese hospitality and culture, this is the place for you and your whole family - even my teen daughters enjoyed the whole experience!"

"This was a great property with large American style rooms. The buffet had enough breakfast options for everyone traveling with our group. Also, the buffet opened early enough where you could eat food and then leave for your tour. The staff were wonderful. The hotel was clean and it was conveniently located at 12 minute walk from the train station or about ¥600 taxi ride."
